We set ambitious targets for upgrades to 4.6 and split them into two groups a basic core upgrade for those users who only needed to take the enhanced and new features in the core product and a full 4.6 upgrade including the new browser applications.
Whereas the core upgrade is available on existing servers and operating environment the browser applications need an operating system change From UNIX to Linux and in some case clients have taken the opportunity to upgrade their hardware to enhance performance and reduce the time taken for the upgrade.
Our target for upgrades to 4.6 either core or browser was 30% by December 31st 2004, we have actually achieved a staggering 38% of which 22% are browser compliant. We already have a steady stream of upgrades booked for 2005.
